This is Wagon 02 from Novaminis — a hefty, character-rich cargo wagon rendered with the kind of detail that makes a tabletop scene feel genuinely inhabited. The sculpt captures a working medieval cart in full: a wide open flatbed framed by low side boards studded with rivets, iron ring mounts bolted to each corner post, and a raised driver's bench with a slatted backrest that suggests whoever was sitting there had somewhere important to be. The double draw-pole extends forward with twin iron rings at the tip, ready to be hitched to whatever beast of burden your campaign favours.
The woodgrain texturing runs across every plank — the flatbed, the side walls, the corner posts — and the four spoked wheels carry that same worn, well-travelled character. This is not a pristine merchant's conveyance; it's a working wagon with history baked into every surface. Whether you're staging a roadside ambush, a caravan encounter, or a dramatic escape sequence, this piece gives your table a grounded, believable focal point.
This is the second wagon variant in the Novaminis range, with a distinct layout from Wagon 01 — the open flatbed configuration and raised driver's bench make it especially versatile as a cargo carrier, prison wagon, or supply cart depending on how you stage it.
This terrain piece works brilliantly for adventurers who:
- Run road encounters, bandit ambushes, or caravan escort missions
- Want believable scatter terrain that rewards close-up painting
- Need a centrepiece prop for a market, settlement, or wilderness scene
- Are building out a travel-themed display diorama
Encounter Hook: The party has been hired to escort a merchant's supply wagon to the next town — but three miles out from the gates, they find this exact wagon sitting in the middle of the road, horses gone, cargo untouched, and a trail of footprints leading into the tree line that stops abruptly thirty feet in.
