This is the Wagon 01 terrain piece from Yasashii Kyojin Studios, and it comes in two distinct configurations: a covered caravan-style wagon with a rounded wooden roof, arched bow frame, side lanterns, and a rear door with draped canvas detailing — and an open flatbed variant with a driver's bench seat and low side rails. Both share the same well-crafted four-wheeled chassis, with beautifully textured plank siding, a front axle assembly, and spoked wheels that paint up brilliantly whether you're going for battered oak or freshly lacquered merchant blue.
The level of sculpted wood grain detail across both versions makes these wagons a genuine centrepiece for road encounters, market scenes, or roadside ambushes — and they hold up equally well as display pieces on a collector's shelf. Encounter Hook:
The party crests the hill to find a merchant wagon overturned in the road, its contents scattered across the mud — silks, spice jars, a broken lockbox. Wheel tracks lead off the road into the treeline. The driver is nowhere to be found. A DC 13 Perception check reveals the wheel tracks are not the only ones heading into the dark.
Supplied in several components — the top portion of the wagon, the bottom portion, the front axle, and four wheels — which fit together with ease and are designed for modularity. Most adventurers find these assemble without glue, though a small drop will make the build permanent. Scaled to 32mm and ready to prime and paint straight away.
