Vorak Stonejaw is a bruiser built to dominate the battlefield. This sculpt from Great Grimoire captures a hulking dragonborn warrior mid-swagger — massive greataxe resting across one shoulder, clawed feet planted on a rocky scenic base, scaly hide bristling with dorsal spines and horns. His barrel-chested frame speaks to a creature who has never once considered retreating, and the snarling maw lined with jagged teeth makes his intentions unmistakeable.
The detail work across this sculpt rewards a patient painter. Overlapping scales shift from broad leathery plates across the torso to finer, tighter patterning along the arms and tail. The greataxe is ornate but savage — notched blades, a spiked crossguard, and a haft wrapped for grip. The ragged hide loincloth and the rocky, cracked-earth base all give Vorak a grounded, brutal presence that sits just as well on a display shelf as it does anchoring a hard encounter on the gaming table.
Sculpted at 35mm scale, Vorak Stonejaw fills the space of a Large creature on your grid — exactly the kind of imposing presence that stops players mid-sentence when you set him down.
This listing is available with a decorative scenic base, a plain flat base, or without a base — choose the option that suits your basing preferences or project setup.
Suits adventurers who:
- Need a dragonborn warlord or tribal champion for a mid-to-high-level encounter
- Want a physically intimidating NPC or BBEG lieutenant who makes an entrance
- Are building a dragonborn warband or draconic cult on the tabletop
- Are looking for a showpiece painting project with rich surface texture throughout
Encounter Hook: The party's informant warned them about the mercenary captain holding the quarry — but she never mentioned the seven-foot dragonborn at his side. Vorak Stonejaw doesn't negotiate. He watches silently while his employer talks, greataxe across his shoulder, until the moment talking stops being useful. Then it's his turn.
