This Voodoo Goblin is one of those sculpts that immediately tells a story without a single word of flavour text needed. She crouches forward with gleeful, predatory energy — a wide, toothy grin splitting her wizened face beneath a battered top hat adorned with a carved skull and a jutting pin. Her long, lank hair hangs loose, her bare feet grip the ground like claws, and cradled in her skeletal hands is a button-eyed straw doll sewn in her own image, a needle already driven through it.
The sculpt is packed with dark folk-horror character. The layered, zigzag-hem robes hang in shredded tatters, and the oversized hat — far too large for her head — lends her a twisted, carnival air that sits somewhere between hag and hedge witch. She reads immediately as dangerous, but in the most unsettling, slow-burning way. This isn't a monster that charges. This is a monster that waits.
For painters, the combination of worn fabric textures, gnarled skin, and the detailed voodoo doll makes her a genuinely rewarding project. Dark wash over the robes, sickly greens and yellows on the skin, and some careful attention to those button eyes will bring out everything the sculpt has to offer.
