Description

It lurched from the treeline with bark-wrapped limbs and hollow eyes, moving with the terrible patience of something that no longer needed to hurry.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is Vine Zombie 01 from Galaad Miniatures' Into the Woods collection — a corrupted humanoid corpse overtaken by wild growth, somewhere between the undead horrors of a necromancer's army and the creeping malevolence of a cursed forest. Branches erupt from the skull and shoulders, wrapping the decayed figure in a crown of twisted wood. One arm hangs loose and grasping while the other drags a bone-handled blade close to the ground. Tattered wrappings cling to the body, and the expression — blank, rotted, relentless — tells you everything about what this creature is now.

As pose 01 in the Vine Zombie range, this sculpt captures the figure mid-shamble, weight forward, threat implicit. It works brilliantly as a standard encounter monster, a fey-cursed revenant, or one of many in a shambling horde. Dungeon Masters running forest encounters, corrupted groves, or druid-gone-wrong storylines will find this sculpt does a great deal of narrative heavy lifting before a single die is rolled. Just as compelling on a display shelf as it is on the battlemat.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run wilderness or fey-adjacent horror encounters
  • Need undead enemies that carry a distinct visual identity beyond a standard zombie
  • Are building a corrupted forest, Feywild, or cursed woodland setting
  • Want a characterful monster mini that doubles as a display piece
  • Are painting a nature-meets-necromancy themed warband

Encounter Hook:
The druid circle's sacred grove has gone silent — the standing stones are cracked, the bark of the elder oaks is black and weeping, and three of the circle's own members are now walking the treeline at dusk, branches growing from their skulls, blades dragging through the loam. Whatever corrupted this place is still here, and it is still spreading.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces and fit together with a small amount of super glue — note that the figure and base are designed to complement each other, so we recommend displaying them together. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor surface marks may occasionally occur and are easily tidied up before priming. Fully cured and ready for paint or use straight from the box.

The purring is not quality control. The purring is encouragement. We choose to believe it helps.
