Villager 06 Fine by Novaminis

Not every story in the realm is written by heroes — sometimes the most important figure at the table is the finely dressed villager who knows exactly what happened, and isn't sure whether to tell you.

Villager 06 Fine from Novaminis represents the respectable end of common folk — the sort of townsperson who wears their best clothes to market day and carries themselves with the quiet confidence of someone who owns property. Whether cast as a merchant's steward, a minor civic official, a well-heeled witness, or simply the one sensible person in town who the party keeps coming back to, this sculpt brings everyday authority to your urban settings.

Novaminis have a gift for capturing characters who feel genuinely embedded in the world — people with lives, concerns, and opinions that exist entirely independently of the adventuring party. This figure carries that quality: dressed well enough to suggest some means, and posed with enough presence to suggest they know it. Paint them in warm wool tones for a prosperous market town, or in muted greys for a city where comfort is carefully concealed.

This is the sixth variation in Novaminis' villager series, meaning adventurers building out a townscape or settlement will find them a natural companion to the rest of the range — each sculpt distinct, each adding texture to the world beyond the dungeon door.

Great for adventurers who want to:

• Populate towns, market squares, and guildhalls with credible, well-realised NPCs
• Give their DM sessions a lived-in feel with characters who look like they have somewhere to be
• Build out detailed urban encounter maps with varied, distinct townsfolk
• Add a painting project that rewards careful attention to cloth, texture, and facial character

Encounter Hook

The party has been asked to discretely investigate a theft from the town's most prominent trading house. The only witness is Villager 06 Fine — a well-dressed steward whose account is suspiciously precise in some details and conspicuously vague in others. He's cooperative, polite, and almost certainly lying about something. The question is whether the players pick that up before they've already sent themselves down the wrong path.
