Not every figure on the battlefield carries a sword. Some of the most powerful moments at the tabletop come from the ordinary folk caught in the middle — the farmer who didn't run fast enough, the tradesman who tried to defend his street, the traveller who never made it to the inn. Novaminis' Villager 06 Fallen captures exactly that kind of quiet tragedy: a common man brought low, telling a story without saying a word.

Whether you use him as grim evidence of a monster's passage through a village, a body for your players to investigate, or a sombre reminder of the stakes in your campaign, this miniature carries real narrative weight. He's the kind of detail that transforms a game table from a combat arena into a living world with consequences.

Painted up in muted earth tones, he slots naturally into urban streets, wilderness tracks, or the outskirts of a hamlet that has seen better days. Equally, as a display piece, he makes a compelling diorama component — the sort of figure that tells a story to anyone who picks him up and looks closely.

Great for adventurers who:

• Want to populate their game world with meaningful, narrative-rich NPCs
• Are building a crime scene, ambush site, or disaster aftermath for their players to discover
• Enjoy painting non-combatant figures that reward careful, realistic colour choices
• Need grounded, human-scale miniatures to anchor the drama of their campaign

Encounter Hook: The road into Millhaven should have taken the party past the Harrow farmstead — but as they crest the hill, they find the gate hanging open and a figure face-down in the mud of the yard. He's been there a while. The livestock are gone. And whatever did this left tracks leading directly toward the village market square, where smoke is beginning to rise.
