Villager 05 Fine from Novaminis brings a well-dressed townswoman to life — the kind of figure who gives your settlement texture and believability. Whether she's the merchant's wife with debts to collect, the alderman's daughter with secrets of her own, or simply a prosperous craftswoman going about her business, she adds the human detail that transforms a grid of dungeon tiles into a living, breathing world.
Novaminis have a particular talent for everyday characters with quiet dignity. This sculpt sits in that tradition — grounded, characterful, and versatile enough to slot into a market town, a noble's court, or a roadside waystation without missing a beat. She's the kind of miniature that makes your players think twice before they assume every NPC is furniture.
For painting, she rewards careful attention to fabric folds and layered cloth — her finer dress offers excellent opportunities for blending and highlighting. A warm mid-tone palette with accent colours in the trim will bring out the quality of the sculpt and make her stand out on your table.
- Adventurers running campaigns with rich social encounters and political intrigue
- Dungeon Masters who want settlements to feel inhabited rather than set-dressed
- Painters looking for a rewarding everyday character piece away from armour and weapons
- Collectors building out a full cast of urban NPCs to populate towns and cities
Encounter Hook: The party arrives in the market town of Delvemere seeking information about a missing merchant. The locals are tight-lipped — until Villager 05 Fine approaches them quietly near the well and presses a folded note into the rogue's hand. She says nothing, makes eye contact for exactly one second, then walks away. The note reads: Meet me at the mill after the bell. Come alone. Tell no one. Whether she's an informant, a suspect, or someone genuinely afraid, the party's next move just got complicated.
