Not every figure on the table is a hero. Some are reminders of what's at stake — and Villager 05 Fallen from Novaminis captures that weight with quiet, unflinching detail. This is the kind of miniature that changes the tone of a scene the moment it hits the table. A fallen commoner, an ordinary person caught in extraordinary and terrible circumstances, she speaks volumes without saying a word.

Whether she's the first victim of a murderer your party must track, a casualty of a marauding warband, or a tragic clue in a gothic mystery, this sculpt earns its place in any Dungeon Master's toolkit. She's equally well suited to dark, story-driven encounters in urban alleyways, village squares, or the outskirts of a forest road — wherever the world turns cruel and the stakes become personal.

For painters, there's real opportunity here. The quiet, grounded nature of the sculpt rewards careful attention to cloth texture, skin tones, and the kind of subtle, muted palette that communicates loss rather than spectacle. She'd make a compelling diorama centrepiece alongside scatter terrain or surrounding figures.

Suited to adventurers who:

• Need a prop or story element to anchor a mystery, murder, or tragedy-driven encounter
• Are building a scene with narrative weight — a village attack, a crime scene, an ambush aftermath
• Want a figure that gives players a reason to care about the world beyond the dungeon
• Paint miniatures with a focus on mood, realism, and atmospheric storytelling

Encounter Hook

The party arrives at the edge of Millhaven to find the market square silent. A single figure lies near the well — a young woman in common dress, her basket of goods scattered across the cobblestones. There are no wounds the party can see. No tracks. No witnesses. But the baker's boy swears he heard her speaking to someone in a hooded cloak just before dawn. Whatever happened here, it happened fast — and whoever is responsible is still in this town.
