Johanna Saffron the Scorned is a Vengeance Paladin drawn from DM Stash's grimdark 5e campaign setting, A Grim Siege. Equal parts divine fury and barely-contained grief, she is the kind of paladin who doesn't ask her god for mercy — she demands answers. The sculpt captures that perfectly: both hands occupied, a heavy ornate greatsword trailing at one side, a sacred tome held aloft in the other, her spiked halo crown catching the light like a weapon in its own right. Her filigree-etched armour speaks of a holy order that has long since turned towards harder truths.

Two distinct variants are available in this listing. The first poses Johanna with her face visible beneath the crown halo, hair swept dramatically across her armour as she strides forward — every surface alive with engraved detail from pauldrons to greaves. The second variant features a full helm design, her face entirely obscured by the spiked crown visor, lending her a far more imposing, almost fearsome aspect — she becomes less a name and more a reckoning. Both variants share the same intricately decorated round base with a layered moulded edge, which complements either pose beautifully.

A strong choice for adventurers who:

  • Play or DM Paladins of Vengeance, Conquest, or morally complex sworn warriors
  • Need a named NPC with immediate presence — a fallen champion, a relentless pursuer, or a fractured ally
  • Are building grimdark or war-torn campaign settings where faith has a harder edge
  • Collect display pieces with exceptional sculpted detail worth showing off on a shelf

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a cult for three sessions when Johanna Saffron emerges from the treeline ahead of them — sword already drawn, tome already open, her spiked halo gleaming with barely-contained divine light. She isn't here to help them. She's here because the same people wronged her first, and she has no intention of letting the party get in her way. Whether she becomes an ally, a rival, or something far more complicated is entirely up to your table.

Details

Each miniature is printed at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces — attach with a small amount of superglue. The base is designed to complement the sculpt and both variants interact naturally with their respective bases. Supports are removed before dispatch; minor surface marks can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up before priming. Supplied unpainted and ready for your brushes or use as-is straight from the box.
