This is pose 02 of the Vanguard Female range by Galaad Miniatures, and she captures a fighter mid-stride with unmistakable purpose. She wears layered plate and pauldrons over a travel-worn coat, her round shield slung at her back and a broad-bladed sword extended low in her leading hand — the posture of someone who has been in enough fights to know exactly where to place her feet. The sculpt reads equally well as a seasoned city guard captain, a paladin's sworn sword, or a front-line martial champion who answers to no one but herself.
The detail across the armour plating, the subtle windswept quality of her hair, and the grounded, dynamic stance make her a rewarding piece to paint — every surface tells a story before a brushstroke is applied. She works just as well displayed unpainted on a shelf as she does commanding space on the battlemat.

Encounter Hook:
The party have been hired to escort a merchant through a city locked down by martial law. At the checkpoint, they come face to face with Commander Vael — sword lowered, eyes unreadable, her unit fanned out behind her. She lets them pass. Later, someone slips a note under their inn door: She is not what she seems. Do not trust the order she serves.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces, designed to fit together cleanly — a small amount of superglue is all you need. The sculpted base complements the figure's pose and is worth including for the best presentation. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Supports are removed before dispatch, and each piece is quality checked — minor marks from the printing process are possible and can be tidied easily.

We use Royal Mail Track48 for our Domestic parcel delivery. This provides you with a tracking number so that you can track your items on their way to you.
We aim to dispatch most orders within a week from when the order is placed but for larger orders we ask that they can take up to 3 weeks.
