Alpha Almenhier is no mere vampire noble lurking behind silk curtains and silver candelabras. This is a warlord of the undead — a winged apex predator who has shed the pretence of civility entirely. He rises from a shattered graveyard base, leaping skyward with one knee raised and both enormous bat-like wings spread wide, a colossal blade studded along its spine with dozens of grinning skulls raised behind him like a war banner. His own head is a writhing mass of twisted, fleshy tendrils — something between a face and a nightmare — suggesting a being that has long since moved past any human origin. Every surface of this sculpt rewards close attention: the veined membrane of his wings, the tattered wrappings at his shins, the broken grave markers and scattered crosses at his feet.
