This is pose 3 of our Vampire Thrall range from DM Stash, and it is arguably the most visceral of the set. Depicted mid-lunge, this thrall has torn free of his restraints — lengths of heavy chain still coiling around his limbs and trailing across the rubble-strewn base — and is charging forward with clawed hands outstretched and fanged jaws wide. The sculpt captures the horrifying duality of the vampire thrall: still recognisably humanoid, with defined musculature and tattered clothing, yet utterly consumed by predatory hunger. Every sinew speaks of something no longer in control of itself.
For Dungeon Masters, the thrall is a versatile threat — a mob creature that becomes terrifying in numbers, a tragic figure with a story behind the madness, or the first sign that a much greater vampire lord holds sway nearby. The shattered chain detail makes this pose particularly evocative for moments of dramatic revelation: a prisoner thought safely restrained, a guardian that has turned, or a creature unleashed by the very party that came to destroy its master.
Fitting for adventurers who:
- Need a physically imposing undead enemy for vampire-themed encounters or Ravenloft campaigns
- Want a mid-combat, high-energy miniature that reads clearly across the table
- Are building a vampire lord's retinue and need varied, characterful thralls
- Collect and paint horror-adjacent fantasy miniatures for display
Encounter Hook:
The party enters the dungeon to find the holding cells torn open from the inside — iron doors buckled outward, chains snapped at the links — and a trail of dust leading deeper into the dark. Whatever was kept here did not escape. It was released.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces and attach with superglue — the base features shattered stonework and broken chain links that interact with the model's pose, so we recommend using it as intended. Comes unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or striking straight from the box as a display piece.
