Description

Once a mortal fighter of some renown, he now serves without will — muzzled, bound by enchanted chains, and utterly devoted to the creature that broke him.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 01 of our Vampire Thrall range from DM Stash. The sculpt depicts a muzzled, broad-shouldered thrall in torn chainmail and ragged clothing, gripping two heavy link chains — one in each clawed hand — that pool down to the detailed cobblestone base beneath his bare, reptilian feet. The spiked iron muzzle that covers his lower face tells a story of restraint and menace: this is not a creature that needs to bite to be dangerous. He stands in a wide, dominance-asserting stance, chains spread like a cage he controls rather than one that confines him. Every link, every knuckle, every torn seam in the chainmail is crisply captured across the front and back of the sculpt.

For Dungeon Masters, he works brilliantly as an enforcer in a vampire lord's inner circle — loyal not by choice but by compulsion, sent ahead to subdue rather than kill. Collectors will appreciate the strong silhouette and the wealth of surface detail that rewards careful brushwork across the chain links, layered fabric, and weathered leather belt pouches.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Run gothic horror campaigns set in Ravenloft or similar dark domains
  • Need a physically imposing undead enforcer or vampire lieutenant for their encounters
  • Enjoy painting complex textural contrasts — chainmail, torn cloth, aged iron
  • Want a display piece that reads clearly and dramatically from across the table

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks a missing merchant into the undercroft of an old manor, only to find him cowering in a corner — and the thing standing between them and him is not a vampire, but something far more broken: a former town guard, muzzled and chained, who raises both chains in greeting and waits for the command to drag someone back.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and decorative cobblestone base are separate pieces, attached with super glue — the sculpt is designed to interact with the base, so we recommend keeping them together. Printed to a high standard; any minor marks left from support removal are easily tidied up before priming.
