Kas the Bloody-Handed is one of fantasy's most storied vampire lords — once the champion of Vecna himself, now a creature of terrible independence and boundless ambition. This sculpt by Monster Atlas captures him in a commanding, arms-crossed stance: half-plate armour layered over chainmail, a long flowing cloak sweeping behind him, and a slim blade resting at his hip. His expression is controlled, calculating — the look of a predator who has already decided how this encounter ends. Long hair, a trimmed beard, and heavy pauldrons complete the silhouette of a warrior-noble who has had centuries to perfect the art of presence.
Whether you're running a Ravenloft campaign, building out a vampire court in your homebrew setting, or simply want a centrepiece villain that carries genuine gravitas on the tabletop, this is the miniature that delivers. Equally at home in a glass display case as it is on a battle map, the level of detail in the armour, chainmail skirt, and leather strapping rewards careful painting.
Brilliant for adventurers who:
- Need a high-authority vampire boss for a gothic horror campaign
- Are running Ravenloft, Curse of Strahd, or a homebrew dark domain arc
- Want a Fighter, Paladin, or Warlock PC sculpt with a commanding noble look
- Are building a display collection of iconic D&D villains
- Prefer their undead lords to look like they could win a duel before breakfast
Encounter Hook:
The party has spent three sessions tracking a string of noble disappearances — and the trail leads here, to a candlelit hall where Kas stands alone, arms folded, sword at his side, looking entirely unsurprised to see them. He already knows who sent them. He already knows what they're carrying. He simply wants to know if they're interesting enough to keep alive.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The miniature and base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue will bond them securely. The decorative base complements the sculpt and some models interact with it directly, so it is worth attaching for the full effect. Arrives unpainted and ready for priming, though it looks characterful straight from the box for those who prefer to game first and paint later.
