Description

He has waited centuries for guests worth entertaining — and the party has just made the most terrible mistake of walking through his door.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the vampire at his most composed and most dangerous — not a ravening beast, but a creature of centuries-old patience and terrible authority. Dressed in a long, ornately embroidered coat that speaks to forgotten noble bloodlines, he stands with the unhurried confidence of something that has outlived every civilisation it has ever known. One hand extends forward, clawed fingers curling inward — a gesture that reads equally as invitation, threat, or both.

The face is the real centrepiece: long pale hair swept back from a face creased into a fanged snarl, brow furrowed, eyes conveying the particular cold fury of an ancient predator who has been roused from his patience. The sculpt rewards careful painting — the layered coat with its swirling hemline embellishments, the wrapped wrist bindings, and the expressive claw hand all offer rich surface detail for washes, highlights, and OSL effects on the reaching hand.

Whether he anchors a Ravenloft campaign as the lord of a crumbling castle, steps in as the corrupt patron who has been pulling strings from the shadows, or simply occupies a glass cabinet as a showpiece study in gothic horror, this sculpt carries the weight of the archetype with real conviction.

Suits adventurers who:

  • Are running a Ravenloft, Curse of Strahd, or gothic horror campaign and need a commanding vampire lord
  • Want a BBEG with genuine visual authority — not just monstrous, but aristocratically menacing
  • Enjoy painting expressive faces and detailed period-inspired clothing
  • Collect gothic undead miniatures for display as well as the gaming table

Encounter Hook

The party has accepted an invitation to dine at the estate of Lord Vaerath — a charming, if eccentric, local noble who has been suspiciously generous with information about the disappearances in the village. As the doors close behind them and the candles dim, he rises from the head of the table, one hand extended as if offering a toast — and the windows seal shut on their own. The party has thirty seconds to decide whether they trust what they are seeing, and six rounds after that to survive it.
