The Undying Scallywag 02 is a skeletal pirate gunslinger caught mid-stride, coat billowing behind him as he thrusts a flintlock pistol forward and raises a second weapon high. His bony frame is clad in a weather-beaten long coat with richly textured detailing, a bandana wrapping what remains of his skull, and buckled boots fit for quarterdeck or crypt alike. The base evokes the planking of a ghost ship's deck — all salt-warped timber and iron fittings — giving this undead marauder an immediately nautical identity that sets him apart from graveyard-variety skeletons.
This is pose 2 of the Undying Scallywag range, and where pose 1 leans into menace, pose 2 is all swagger — the kind of undead buccaneer who fires first and counts his bones later. Whether you're running a ghost ship encounter, a cursed harbour crawl, or a Ravenloft arc dripping with nautical dread, this miniature brings character and dynamism to the table. He works equally well as a recurring villain, a crew commander for a skeletal boarding party, or a striking display piece for any adventurer who appreciates the intersection of piracy and undeath.
A great choice for adventurers who:
- Run maritime or ghost ship D&D encounters and want a standout undead officer
- Need a Ravenloft-ready skeleton with genuine personality
- Play or DM Ghosts of Saltmarsh, Planescape, or any nautical TTRPG campaign
- Collect undead miniatures or paint dynamic character sculpts
Encounter Hook:
The party boards the Rotten Tide expecting an empty wreck — instead, they find her skeleton crew very much at their posts, led by a grinning gunslinger who levels his flintlock at the closest player character and says, in a voice like barnacles scraping hull-timber: "Ye can leave the gold. Keep the breath. That's a fair deal where I come from."
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic ship-deck base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with super glue — the base has been sculpted to complement the figure's dynamic stance, and the two work best displayed together. These are digital render images showing the sculpt detail in full.
