Dagrith the Ascendant One is not merely a monster. It is a transformation made manifest — a hulking, corrupted giant whose bloated, tumour-riddled cranium has split wide open to reveal a maw of grasping tendrils and jagged teeth. One arm trails a writhing mass of faces and claws frozen in anguish; the other hangs slick with pustules and necrotic flesh. Skulls litter the base at its feet. Whatever this creature once was, it is long past saving.
This is a sculpt built for a campaign's darkest moment. The front angle shows the full horror of that cavernous split skull and the exposed cavity within — a grotesque hollow where something yet pulses. The rear view reveals a different terror: thick, rope-like protrusions that suggest a body still mid-transformation, still becoming. Both perspectives reward the painter and unsettle the player. DMs looking for a creature that carries genuine dread at the table will find it here — Dagrith is a boss encounter unto himself, no additional flavour text required.

Encounter Hook:
The party was sent to destroy the Ascendant Seal before the ritual concluded — but they arrived three minutes too late. The circle is dark. The chanting has stopped. And from the far end of the chamber, something enormous turns slowly towards them, trailing tendrils and the remnants of a human silhouette.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The decorative base is included as a separate piece and attaches with superglue — note that Dagrith's pose interacts with the base, so we recommend keeping them together for the full effect. The miniature arrives with supports removed and fully cured, ready for priming and painting or display straight from the box. As with all hand-finished resin prints, minor surface marks are possible and easily tidied up.
