Description

The harbour smells of brine and rot — and somewhere in the fog, a hammer rises and falls with the rhythm of a heart that stopped beating years ago.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This undead blacksmith is no shambling skeleton. He's a bruiser — a broad-shouldered, muscle-heavy corpse who clearly spent decades at the forge before whatever curse claimed him. The sculpt captures a figure mid-lunge, one massive fist raised and the other trailing, with torn clothing and armour straps hanging loose from a body that barely holds itself together. He moves like a man who doesn't know he's dead, and that makes him all the more unsettling. The detailed scenic base — scattered with broken timbers and debris — grounds him firmly in a cursed pirate setting, and the deep surface detail across his skin and clothing rewards careful painting.

Whether he's the undead guardian of a sunken ship's armoury, a risen crew member brought back by a sea-hag's bargain, or the last loyal servant of a drowned pirate lord, this miniature carries genuine narrative weight. He works brilliantly as a named NPC, a mini-boss encounter, or a recurring threat that adventurers keep having to put down again.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Are running nautical or pirate-themed D&D and TTRPG campaigns
  • Need a heavy undead combatant with real physical presence on the table
  • Want a display piece with strong character and fine sculpt detail
  • Are building a Ravenloft or cursed-harbour encounter that needs a focal creature

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the drowned shipwright's yard to recover a stolen naval chart — only to find the old blacksmith still at his post, forge-cold but endlessly hammering, and unwilling to let anything leave the yard that he hasn't personally destroyed first.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and decorative base are separate pieces and attach cleanly with superglue — the base is worth using, as the figure is sculpted to interact with it. Arrives support-free and fully cured, ready to prime and paint or use straight from the box. Minor surface marks from the print process are possible and easily cleaned up.
