This is the first pose in our Skeleton Villager range by Novaminis, and it tells a story at a glance. Clad in the tattered remnants of a once-ordinary cloak, one boot still buckled at the ankle, this skeleton carries the echo of a mundane life now twisted into undeath. The broom clutched in its bony hand is no warrior's weapon — it's the tool of a farmhand, a cleaner, a servant — which makes its reanimation all the more quietly unsettling. The reaching arm and skulking posture give it an air of purposeful, hollow menace.
Sculpted with exceptional detail across the exposed ribcage, finger bones, and trailing cloak fabric, this miniature reads brilliantly both on the tabletop and on a display shelf. It's the kind of NPC encounter piece that makes players stop and ask — who was this person? Whether you're populating a cursed village, a necromancer's estate, or a haunted manor, Skeleton Villager 01 brings character to what could so easily be a generic undead foe.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need atmospheric undead NPCs for village curses, haunted settlements, or necromancer lairs
- Want to build a varied horde of skeletons with distinct personalities rather than identical poses
- Are painting undead warbands and want sculpts with genuine narrative detail
- Collect display miniatures that carry a sense of backstory in their pose alone
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in Millhaven just before dusk to find the village square swept clean — too clean — and a lone figure still working a broom across the cobblestones in slow, rhythmic strokes. As they approach, the figure turns, and the hollow sockets where eyes once were fix on them with terrible intent. The rest of the village, it seems, has also been put back to work.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Every miniature is checked before dispatch; as with all hand-supported resin prints, minor marks may occasionally be present and are straightforward to tidy up before priming. Arrives fully cured and ready for paint.
