Description

They say old Hadley went down with his ship three times — and came back up every one of them, a little less alive each time.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

'Anchor Arm' Hadley is one of the most characterful undead sculpts we've encountered — a gaunt, hollow-eyed pirate whose entire left arm has fused with a length of twisted rope, ending in a full ship's anchor that drags at his side like a grotesque flail. Barnacles and coral growths claw at his torso and trousers, and the skull-masked visage beneath his bald head makes it clear this is no mere zombie — Hadley has presence. He stands in a wide, aggressive stance, one claw-hand raised as though he's about to lunge. This is a named character in all but name.

Sculpted by Great Grimoire with exceptional attention to nautical detail, Hadley works as a recurring villain, a ghost ship's first mate, or a cursed soul bound to a sunken wreck. His silhouette is immediately readable on the table — rope, anchor, tattered sailcloth trousers — and he'll reward a careful painter with layers of barnacle texture, corroded iron, and bleached bone.

Brilliant for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable undead boss or lieutenant for a sea-based campaign
  • Want a distinctive NPC haunting a ghost ship or cursed harbour
  • Are running a nautical arc and need something more dramatic than a generic skeleton
  • Collect characterful undead minis for display or painting projects

Encounter Hook:
The party's ship is becalmed in dead water when something scrapes along the hull — then a rope-wrapped iron anchor hooks over the gunwale. Hadley hauls himself aboard hand-over-hand, hollow eyes fixed on whoever holds the captain's compass he was buried with three hundred years ago.

What's included:
This listing is for 'Anchor Arm' Hadley at 32mm scale. A base option is available — choose from a plain black base or one of three decorative seabed bases: a reef scene with coral and fish, a sandy shoreline with skull and starfish, or an anchor-and-barnacle scene. Please include a note with your order specifying which decorative base you'd prefer. The base is supplied separately and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; minor surface marks are possible and easily tidied up with a file or hobby knife.
