Description
He fell defending the clan-hold, hammer in hand — and whatever dark power raised him kept the stubborn set of his shoulders and the runes of his ancestors on his shield.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This undead dwarf fighter cuts a grim, compact silhouette — heavy-set in layered plate armour, bearded face gaunt with the hollow look of the newly damned. He carries a broad square-headed warhammer raised and ready, while his off-arm braces behind a massive heater shield decorated with deeply carved geometric dwarven runes — the kind of ancestral ironwork that outlasts the warrior who bore it. A skull motif clasps his belt, the one concession to his new allegiance to death. Every surface tells a story of a life spent under stone: banded gauntlets, greaves buckled tight, a tabard worn ragged at the hem.
Whether you need a risen champion for a dwarven crypt encounter, a cursed ancestor NPC with a tragic backstory, or simply a gloriously characterful undead warrior for your undead warband, this sculpt delivers the grim dignity of a fighter who refuses to stay buried. He is equally compelling as a painted display piece — the shield alone, with its layered rune-work, is a rewarding canvas for a skilled brush.
The miniature is available with or without a plain round base, so you can slot him onto your preferred scenic base or a custom resin terrain piece without any fuss.
- Adventurers building out a dwarven crypt delve with risen guardians
- DMs running a cursed ancestor or fallen champion as a recurring antagonist
- Players whose Fighter or Paladin has an undead rival or dark reflection
- Painters looking for a compact but detail-rich undead sculpt to showcase metallic and bone techniques
Encounter Hook: The party descends into the sealed lower vaults of Kharak Dûm seeking a lost forge-relic — only to find the ancient clan-guard still at their posts, hammers raised, shield-runes flickering with pale necromantic light. The first to step forward bears the crest of the Ironveil clan, a name the party's dwarven companion recognises with a sharp intake of breath.
