Description

Something massive broke through the tunnel wall, and the torchlight caught six eyes blinking — each one completely independent of the others.

  • ✔ Multi-miniature bundle — multiple variations in one order
  • ✔ 32mm scale resin, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ All pieces supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Great value for building out encounter groups or display collections

The Umber Hulk is one of D&D's most tactically terrifying monsters: a burrowing aberration that erupts through stone, confuses its prey with a maddening multi-eyed gaze, and tears through armour with chitinous claws built like siege equipment. This bundle includes both Umber Hulk sculpts from Novaminis — Pose 01 and Pose 02 — each capturing a distinct moment of predatory menace. Pose 01 shows the creature in a low, advancing charge, claws spread wide and mandibles agape, every ridge and chitin plate rendered with unsettling anatomical detail. Pose 02 shifts the energy: arms thrust outward in a wide, grasping lunge, the segmented forelimbs reaching forward as though mid-swipe — a posture that reads as immediate, violent threat across the table.

Together they give Dungeon Masters two distinct visual beats for the same creature — one for the stalk, one for the strike. Whether you're running a single Underdark ambush or fielding a burrowing pair to split the party, these sculpts have the presence and the detail to make the moment land. Both sit equally well on a display shelf, rewarding a careful paint job with deep surface texture across carapace, claw, and underbelly alike.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Run Underdark campaigns and want a physically imposing ambush predator
  • Need two distinct Umber Hulk poses for multi-creature encounters or a paired threat
  • Want a boss-tier monster with genuine table presence for a climactic session
  • Are building a display collection of iconic D&D aberrations
  • Prefer to buy the complete set at a saving over individual listings

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking duergar raiders through the deep tunnels for three days when the floor cracks — not the ceiling, the floor — and something vast and many-eyed drags itself into the passage ahead. The duergar are nowhere to be seen. Their pickaxes are scattered. Their boots are still attached to their feet. The boots are the only thing left.

This bundle contains 2 miniatures: Umber Hulk 01 and Umber Hulk 02. Both are scaled to 32mm. Miniatures are supplied unpainted and unprimed, ready for your preferred hobby approach. Supports are removed as standard; as with all resin printing, minor surface marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied before painting.
