The party enters the lower vault and finds the short wall separating the antechamber from the inner sanctum — skulls of previous adventurers cemented into the stonework, a femur half-buried under rubble at its base. Scratched into the mortar beside the nearest skull, barely legible: "Turn back. It's still in there." The rogue asks how old the scratches look. The DM smiles slowly.
