The Ground Stones 2 block (UD-017) from Dungeon Blocks is a modular dungeon floor tile featuring a raised cobblestone pattern across its surface — a grid of squared, irregular stones that evoke the hand-laid masonry of a forgotten keep or underground fortress. Whether you're building out a sprawling crypt, a thieves' guild basement, or the antechamber to a dragon's lair, this block slots seamlessly into your existing Dungeon Blocks layout and grounds your battle map in believable, tactile detail.
Each block represents a 5ft square in standard 32mm scale, with a 3.5cm square footprint that sits flush with other blocks in the range. Printed in your choice of grey or black, the surface detail takes paint and dry-brushing exceptionally well — bring out the depth of those stone recesses with a dark wash and you'll have flagstones that look pulled straight from a dungeon master's fever dream.

Encounter Hook:
The party has crept deep into the undercroft beneath Ashenveil Manor, torchlight barely reaching the walls — and then the rogue stops dead. The flagstones ahead are wrong. Every other stone in this room is worn smooth by centuries of foot traffic, but one section near the far wall is pristine, unchipped, recently laid. Someone sealed something beneath these floors. Something that, judging by the faint scratching from below, isn't finished moving yet.
Each block is printed in one solid colour — either grey or black — and represents 5ft in standard 32mm/35mm scale. The 3.5cm square base is compatible with standard miniature bases. The product image shows an artist's render of a painted example; your block will arrive in the solid base colour selected at checkout. Fully compatible with all other Dungeon Blocks sets.
