This is the Ultimate Dungeon Altar (UD-081, without sheet) from Dungeon Blocks — a weighty, characterful terrain piece that earns its place at the centre of any ritual chamber, cursed crypt, or occult encounter. The sculpt features a hinged stone-effect box form with a carved pentagram on the lid, opening to reveal an ornate interior with a golden cross motif and decorative scroll details. Scattered bone fragments and skulls line the exterior edges, adding grim narrative detail without a word of exposition needed.
This piece occupies a 1×2 space on your battle map, keeping things grid-friendly for standard 32mm and 35mm miniatures. Each block represents 5ft in standard scale, and the 3.5cm square base sits flush with other Dungeon Blocks sets — fully compatible with the wider modular range for adventurers building out a complete dungeon layout.

Encounter Hook:

Inside, a golden cross sits at the centre of coiling gilt vines. The skeletal remains around its base suggest this was not a place of worship. It was a place of transaction. Something was offered here. Something answered. And whatever agreed to that bargain has not yet collected its end of the deal.
