Description

He smiles as he works — and the plants smile with him, all teeth and hunger.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Twisted Herbalist is no simple apothecary gone wrong. He's something far more deliberate: a lithe, hooded figure who moves with the confidence of someone who knows the jungle answers to him. Dual blades in hand, cloak billowing, he strides through writhing carnivorous vegetation as though the whole scene were a pleasant afternoon stroll. The enormous maw-flower looming at his back isn't a threat — it's a companion. That grin says he planned all of this.

Whether you run him as a charismatic BBEG pulling strings from the margins of a corrupt merchant guild, a fey-touched druid who has long since abandoned any oath of preservation, or an arcane botanist whose experiments finally started talking back — the Twisted Herbalist brings instant narrative weight to any scene. The sculpt captures both menace and theatricality in equal measure, making him as compelling on a display shelf as he is across a battlemat.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a BBEG or recurring villain with visual flair and presence
  • Are building a jungle, fey, or nature-corrupted campaign arc
  • Want an NPC that reads immediately as dangerous and a little unhinged
  • Paint character-driven sculpts for display or competition
  • Love a monster that makes your players ask questions before initiative is rolled

Encounter Hook:
The herbalist's stall in the market was gone by morning — but the flowers he left behind have begun to follow people home. When the party tracks the source to a derelict greenhouse on the city's edge, they find him waiting, blades drawn, flanked by three snapping pitcher plants the size of hounds. He looks genuinely delighted to see them.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale as standard. A decorative base option is available — if selected, please include a note with your order specifying which of the three base styles you'd prefer. Both the decorative and plain bases are supplied separately and attach easily. The mini arrives ready for priming and painting, with supports removed and quality checked before dispatch. Some minor surface marks are possible given the nature of high-detail resin printing, but these are easily cleaned up.
