This large-scale beast miniature combines the bulk of a ground bird with the menace of a predatory raptor. The main figure rears upright on scaled taloned feet, its round feathered body bristling with a dramatic fan of segmented blade-like tail feathers that spread outward like a folded weapon. A crest of sharp spines crowns its head, and small vestigial wings flare at its sides — more display than flight.
