This is pose 02 of our Troll Skirmisher range by Novaminis, and it captures something the standard lumbering troll mini never quite manages: momentum. This creature is airborne, one knee raised mid-leap, both arms thrown wide with fingers splayed like raking talons. There's a theatrical menace to the pose — this isn't a troll that stumbles into battle, it's one that relishes it. Spiked, segmented armguards wrap both forearms, a studded belt and hanging trophies suggest it collects souvenirs from things that didn't run fast enough, and a skull charm at its hip tells you it keeps count.
The sculpt rewards a careful paint job — the layered wrappings, the knotted musculature, the grotesque yet almost graceful aerial stance all give a painter plenty to work into. On the table, the wide-armed pose fills the space around it in a way that communicates threat without a single word from your DM. Equally at home stalking a display shelf as it is dropping into an ambush encounter.

Encounter Hook:

Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black round base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Some minor surface marks may be present from the printing process; these are easily cleaned up before priming. Supplied fully cured and ready for your brush.
