This is pose 1 of our Troll Enforcer range by Novaminis, and it's a sculpt that tells a story before it even hits the table. The Enforcer lunges forward mid-stride, one taloned hand splayed wide and reaching, the other trailing a heavy iron chain from which a grinning skull hangs like a trophy. Tattered wrappings bind his forearms, his ragged cloak billows with the movement, and his expression — all teeth and crooked menace — makes it very clear he's done this before. This is not a mindless troll. This is muscle. This is someone's hired problem.
For Dungeon Masters, the Enforcer slots into any campaign that features organised crime, warlords, or the kind of underworld that operates just below the city watch's line of sight. He's equally at home lurking in a swamp tributary as he is collecting on debts in a dockside warehouse. Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to recover a merchant's stolen goods — but when they track the thieves to a riverside warehouse, they find the loot already claimed. A troll enforcer sits atop the crates, skull-chain swinging lazily, explaining in broken Common that the goods now belong to someone else. The troll isn't looking for a fight. He's looking to see if they'll be sensible about this. He suspects they won't.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black display base — the base is unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all detailed resin sculpts, minor marks may occasionally remain and are easily tidied up. Each piece is fully cured and ready for priming and painting, or for use straight from the box.
