This is Troll 03 from Novaminis, the third sculpt in their character-driven troll range, and it brings something distinctly unsettling to the table. Where other troll miniatures lean into brute mass, this one is lean and cunning — draped in a ragged cloak, feathers jutting from its wild hair, and lengths of heavy chain hanging from its belt like grim souvenirs. Its posture is unhurried, almost theatrical, as if it knows full well that it will simply get back up. The long, hooked claws on both hands are sculpted with the kind of detail that rewards a careful paint job, and the whole silhouette reads as something between a wandering predator and a tribal shaman-gone-wrong.
For Dungeon Masters, this sculpt works beautifully as a troll who has been around long enough to accumulate scars, habits, and a certain swagger. It suits encounters that call for a monster with personality — a recurring nemesis, a bridge-keeper with a grotesque reputation, or the lone survivor of a hunting party that didn't survive. Equally at home on a display shelf alongside other monster miniatures, the level of sculpt detail from Novaminis gives painters a genuinely rewarding project.

Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Minor imperfections from the print process are possible; any residual marks are easily tidied up before priming. Fully cured and ready to paint straight away.
