This is Troll 02 from Novaminis, the second pose in their troll range, and where Troll 01 might bludgeon and batter, this one unsettles. The sculpt captures a creature mid-advance — lean and long-limbed, matted dreadlocks hanging around a snarling face, one arm wrapped in frayed rope and extending a splayed, grasping hand toward whatever unfortunate soul is closest. The other hand hangs low, curved claws dragging. A small skull trophy dangles from its torso. Stitched hide wraps its legs, and its bare feet are bound in rags. There's an almost ritualistic quality to this troll — less feral brute, more something that has learned patience and finds it amusing.
The sculpt holds extraordinary detail across every surface: the texture of the knotted rope, the individual claw segments, the stitching on the hide wrapping. Whether you're painting it for the table or placing it on a display shelf, this is a miniature that rewards close attention. Equally at home lurking in a swamp, crouching in a cave mouth, or serving as a warband's disturbing figurehead.

Encounter Hook:
The party hears it before they see it — a slow, rhythmic tap of claws on wet stone. When the torchlight finally catches it, the troll is already close, one hand raised and open, head tilted, as if it's done this enough times to know that the running and screaming comes next. The skull at its chest is wearing a dented iron ring. Someone recognises it as the party's missing scout.

Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each miniature is ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or use it as-is for an immediate presence on the table.
