They called it a gift. The gates opened. By morning, the city was silent.

This Trojan Horse scatter terrain piece is a beautifully crafted homage to one of history's most infamous acts of deception. Constructed from bundled timber planks bound tightly with thick rope, the horse sits on a wheeled wooden platform — a genuine siege prop that looks as though it's been rolled to the city gates and left, conspicuously, as an offering. Every plank, every twist of cord, and every spoke of the wooden wheels is rendered with remarkable texture detail that rewards a close look and rewards a good paint job even more.

On the tabletop, this piece works as an evocative centrepiece for ancient or mythic Mediterranean-flavoured campaigns, as an enigmatic object in an urban intrigue encounter, or simply as a statement display piece. The scale and silhouette are unmistakable — your players will immediately know something is wrong, and that is precisely the point.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run ancient world, mythic, or Odyssey-inspired TTRPG campaigns
  • Need a memorable centrepiece prop for a city gate or harbour district encounter
  • Want a conversation-starting display piece for their collection
  • Are building a diorama around themes of deception, infiltration, or siege warfare

Encounter Hook:
The merchant caravan arrived three days ago bearing an enormous wheeled effigy — a horse of bundled timber, left at the town's northern gate as a "tribute from defeated rivals". The party's Rogue has just noticed that the plank gaps near the belly are not gaps at all, but hinges. Whatever is inside has been very quiet. Until now.

Scaled to 32mm. Supplied as a single piece, ready for priming and painting or for use straight from the box. As with all hand-finished resin work, minor imperfections may occasionally occur — we check every piece carefully, but small marks from support removal are possible and easily tidied up.
