This is pose 01 of the Troglodyte Shaman range from Novaminis, and it makes an immediate impression. The shaman stands in a wide, predatory crouch, its massive frame draped in a stitched hide cloak decorated with cross-stitch detail along every seam. Bone fetishes and small skulls hang at its belt, and a large decorative skull medallion sits at its chest. Its free hand reaches forward with grasping, clawed fingers — mid-incantation or mid-threat, it's hard to say which is worse.

In its right hand it carries a long totem staff topped with a horned animal skull, feathers, and hanging bone charms — a weapon, a focus, and a warning all at once. The shaman's own head is framed by a wide-brimmed skull-like hood, and its face is a mass of writhing tentacles and exposed teeth that suggests something deeply unwholesome about the deity it serves. Spiked knees, taloned feet, and a heavy muscular build complete a silhouette that reads as dangerous from any angle. Four views of the sculpt are provided, showing the full detail of the back cloak, the staff totem, and the layered bone jewellery across the chest.

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks the missing scouts into a cavern reeking of decay and offal. In the centre, surrounded by a circle of kneeling Troglodytes, the shaman faces away from them — arms raised, staff aloft, chanting to a crack in the cave floor that glows with a faint, wrongcoloured light. It hasn't turned around yet. It doesn't need to.

Details

Sculpted at 32mm scale and supplied unpainted, ready for priming and painting. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. As with all hand-finished resin work, minor imperfections or trace support marks may occasionally be present; these are easily cleaned up and do not affect the integrity of the sculpt.
