This is pose 2 of the Troglodyte Sentry range from Novaminis, and it carries a distinct energy to the tabletop. Where some sentries lurk, this one looms — wide-legged stance planted low, a feather-adorned bone spear levelled outward with casual menace. The sculpt captures every unsettling detail of D&D's cave-dwelling reptilians: the gaping, tooth-heavy maw, the ridge of bony spines across the skull, the crude hide loin-wrappings decorated with small skulls, and a hide cloak stitched crudely across the back. Clawed hands and taloned feet grip the earth as though daring anything warm-blooded to come closer.
The level of surface detail — rope bindings, feathered fetishes, laced hide patches — gives painters a wealth of texture to work with, while the dynamic but grounded pose reads clearly at arm's length across a gaming table. Equally at home on a display shelf as it is guarding the entrance to a subterranean lair.

Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Some minor marks from the printing process are possible; these are easily tidied up. The piece is fully cured and ready to prime and paint, or use straight from the box.
