This is pose 1 of the Novaminis Troglodyte Sentry range, and it cuts an immediately imposing figure. Hunched into a low, predatory stance, this sentry carries a heavy bone-tipped spear levelled across its body and clutches a crude feathered shield in its off-hand. A necklace of skulls and teeth hangs from its throat, and ragged hide wrappings cover its flanks — the practical armour of a creature that has survived the Underdark on cunning and savagery alone. The crested, reptilian head is wide-jawed and alert, mid-snarl, as though it has already caught the scent of something it doesn't recognise.
The sculpt captures everything that makes troglodytes genuinely threatening: not the brute power of an ogre or the dark magic of a drow, but the primal menace of a pack hunter on its own turf. Whether you're running a classic dungeon delve, a full Underdark campaign, or simply want a well-sculpted cave-dweller for your display shelf, this miniature rewards both the painter and the Dungeon Master equally.

Encounter Hook:
The party descends into the lower tunnels following the trail of a missing scouting party — and finds only scattered equipment and claw marks raked deep into the rock. Then, from the dark ahead, comes the slow scrape of a spear shaft dragging across stone. The sentry has been tracking them since the second level.
Scaled to 32mm and supplied unpainted, ready for priming and painting straight out of the box. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Some minor marks from support removal are possible but can be cleaned up with ease.

We use Royal Mail Track48 for our Domestic parcel delivery. This provides you with a tracking number so that you can track your items on their way to you.
