This is pose 02 of our Troglodyte Brute range from Novaminis, and it is a weighty, characterful piece. Clutching a heavy, notched broadsword in one clawed hand and hoisting a battered, bolt-studded tower shield with the other, this brute reads as a veteran of countless underground skirmishes. Layered spiked shoulder guards, chain-link wrappings at the torso, and studded wrist bracers all speak to a creature that has cobbled together its armour from whatever it has torn from fallen enemies. The head — crowned with bony protrusions and a gaping maw of jagged teeth — carries real menace. Every angle of this sculpt rewards a careful eye: the scaled tail, the taloned feet, the scarred surface of that shield.
Equally at home leading a war band of lesser troglodytes or standing alone as a CR-bumped elite guarding a subterranean shrine, this miniature works as hard on the tabletop as it does on the display shelf.

The only way forward is through a narrow choke point, and at its far end, this brute waits alone in the dark, shield braced against the walls of the tunnel, absolutely certain nothing gets past it tonight.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black round base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. As with all hand-finished resin pieces, minor support marks may occasionally be present; these are easily cleaned up and won't affect priming or painting. Each piece is fully cured before dispatch.
