This Troglodyte is not the wiry, feral variety adventurers sometimes underestimate. Pose 04 from Yasashii Kyojin Studio's Troglodyte range depicts a hunched, massively-built brute caught mid-lurch — its great shoulders rolled forward, claws splayed, and its thick, blade-ridged tail sweeping behind it like a natural weapon. The horned, pig-snouted skull is lowered in that particular posture that signals it has already decided to charge. Every muscle group is sculpted with clear anatomical weight — this is a creature built to absorb punishment and keep coming.
Standing at 38mm, the sculpt reads well from across the table even in grey — the silhouette alone communicates threat. For Dungeon Masters running Underdark campaigns, it works equally as a roaming brute, a tribal champion, or the thing guarding whatever the party came to find. Encounter Hook:
The party tracks a missing patrol to a collapsed mine entrance — the tunnel beyond has been widened with brute force, the support timbers simply pushed aside. At the first bend, the torchlight catches two reflective eyes at shoulder height, and then three more sets behind it.
Scaled at 38mm to sit convincingly as a large humanoid threat. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed easily with a small amount of glue. Printed at high resolution for crisp detail across the surface textures and clawed extremities. Minor imperfections from the printing process may occasionally occur; any small marks are straightforward to clean up before priming.
