This Troglodyte sculpt captures the creature mid-lunge, its corded muscles coiled beneath scale-rough hide, hooked claws splayed wide and jaw parted in a silent snarl. The pose communicates pure predatory instinct — this is not a beast that hesitates. Bony ridges crown the skull, the hunched spine bristles with dorsal spurs, and the wide taloned feet grip the base as though the stone floor beneath it is already claimed. At 41mm to the top of its horns, this is a miniature that commands space on the table.
For Dungeon Masters, the Troglodyte is one of the Underdark's most underrated threats — pack hunters with a paralysing stench and the patience of creatures that have never known daylight. This sculpt leans into that feral menace, making it just as compelling on a display shelf as it is dropping onto a battlemat for initiative rolls.

Encounter Hook:
The party descends into the collapsed mine expecting goblins. Instead, the torchlight catches six pairs of eyes low to the ground — and the smell hits a full round before the claws do. Three Troglodytes are already behind them.
Scaled to 32mm (41mm to crown). Available with or without a plain black round base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch, though minor surface marks are possible given the nature of the process; these are easily tidied during prep or painting.
