This Tripwire Trap terrain set from Ella's Arcanum brings a deceptively simple but narratively loaded piece of scatter terrain to your table. The set features two cobblestone platform sections — one wider, one narrower — with worn wooden posts and a thick braided rope running between them. The stonework is richly textured with rounded cobbles and a gritty surface, giving the impression of an aged harbour, market square, or dungeon antechamber. The rope itself is modelled with a convincing twist and hangs at exactly the height that says "someone put that there on purpose."
Whether used as a genuine in-game tripwire hazard, a crowd-control barrier, or simply atmospheric dressing for a dockside brawl, this set rewards attentive players and rewards Dungeon Masters who love layering environmental storytelling into their encounters.

Encounter Hook:
The thieves' guild have rigged the dockyards ahead of the party's arrival — low ropes between the bollards, nearly invisible in the fog. The first character who fails a DC 13 Perception check triggers the trap, alerting the waiting crossbowmen on the upper walkway and sending crates crashing into the water below. Now the party must fight on uneven ground, with the ropes threatening to send anyone who moves too quickly into the harbour.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming — use straight from the box for a raw stone-and-wood aesthetic, or paint to match your campaign's palette. Suitable for both gaming use and display collecting. Minor support marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
