Description

Forged in the geometric perfection of Mechanus, the Tridrone marches where the Grand Modron commands — tireless, triangular, and absolutely certain it is correct.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 01 of our Modron Tridrone range by Novaminis. The Tridrone is one of the more combative modrons in the hierarchy — a three-faced, three-armed construct that occupies the peculiar space between mindless drone and independent operator. This sculpt captures that unsettling duality brilliantly: the triangular torso, multi-jointed limbs, and expressive face (clearly displeased with the current tactical situation) give it a character that belies its mechanical nature. One arm levels a long spear in a ready stance, while another clutches a bladed weapon at its side — a creature built for enforcement, not diplomacy.

Whether your party has stumbled into a Mechanus gate encounter, a runaway construct gone rogue, or a planar investigator's worst bureaucratic nightmare, the Tridrone makes an immediately recognisable and characterful presence on the board. Equally at home on a display shelf as it is anchoring a modron-themed warband.

Brought to your table by adventurers who:

  • Are running planar campaigns through Mechanus, Sigil, or the Outlands
  • Need a distinct construct enemy that reads instantly across the table
  • Are collecting the full modron hierarchy from Monodrone to Pentadrone
  • Want a conversation-starting display piece with genuine D&D lore behind it
  • Are painting projects fans — those articulated limbs and geometric panels reward careful brushwork

Encounter Hook:
The modron envoy arrives at the city gates precisely on schedule — it has been doing so every 17 years for three centuries, demanding a census report from a kingdom that no longer exists. It will not leave until the paperwork is filed. The party has one hour before it classifies the entire settlement as a logical error and begins corrective action.

Scaled to 32mm and supplied ready for priming and painting. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. As with all hand-checked prints, we take care to remove supports and inspect each piece, though minor surface marks are an inherent part of the process and can be tidied easily before painting.
