Description

The war-horn sounds and the guard breaks into a sprint, lion-emblazoned shield raised and blade already drawn — this settlement will not fall without a fight.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Tribe Guard Running captures a warrior mid-stride, scale armour layered from shoulder to knee, a broad round shield bearing a proud lion's-head relief slung on the left arm, and a short blade gripped low in the right hand. The posture is purposeful — weight forward, one knee raised, every line of the sculpt communicating momentum and intent. Tight braided locks and a close-cropped beard give the figure a veteran's bearing, and the armour's overlapping scales are crisp enough to reward a careful wash-and-drybrush approach.

Whether you're populating the outer walls of a desert city-state, placing guards at the threshold of a highland chieftain's hall, or building a patrol that the party might need to talk — or fight — their way past, this sculpt brings genuine personality to what could easily be a background role. The lion motif on that shield suggests rank and pride; whoever this guard is, they earned the emblem.

This variation is this sculpt's primary pose — a forward-charging stance that reads immediately on the table and stands out equally well on a display shelf among a warband of tribal warriors.

Suits adventurers who want to:

  • Populate tribal settlements, city gates, or highland strongholds with convincing guards
  • Use a veteran fighter or paladin NPC with a lion-heraldry theme
  • Build a patrol encounter with a warrior who looks like they mean business
  • Add a kinetic, mid-stride sculpt to a display warband or diorama
  • Give their players an NPC guard memorable enough to earn a name

Encounter Hook: The party has been caught slipping through the outer perimeter of the Sunstone Tribe's walled encampment at dusk. A lone guard on patrol spots them — not sounding the alarm yet, but already at a run, shield up, blade low, calling out a challenge in a language only one party member half-understands. Do they talk, bolt, or fight?
