Description
Where the veil between the mortal world and the Feywild grows thin, keen eyes sometimes catch the silhouette of great feathered wings — and a cat's imperious gaze looking back.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Tressym is one of the most beloved and overlooked creatures in the D&D bestiary: a winged cat of uncanny intelligence, immune to poison and possessed of a predator's instincts wrapped in deceptive feline charm. In the lore, these creatures serve as familiars to powerful wizards and warlocks, but they are wild things at heart — as likely to vanish into the Feywild as to sit obediently on a mage's shoulder. This sculpt by Mia Kay M3DM captures that duality beautifully: a small winged cat posed on a rocky outcrop, wings spread wide, radiating quiet authority — and looming behind it, rendered in ghostly grandeur, the great spectral form of a Tressym elder, its enormous wings echoing the younger creature's posture in a breathtaking double composition.
Whether you're placing it on the table as a warlock's familiar, a Feywild spirit, or a mysterious NPC that the party simply cannot work out, this miniature carries enormous presence for its size. It also makes a striking display piece — the layered composition of small cat and towering spectral form gives it a depth that rewards close attention on a shelf as much as at the gaming table.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Play or DM Feywild encounters and want creatures with genuine character
- Run warlocks or wizards with animal familiars in their campaigns
- Collect miniatures with unusual, multi-figure compositions
- Want a distinctive painting project with rich feather and fur detail
- Are building a display shelf with stand-out fantasy creature pieces
Encounter Hook:
The party's warlock wakes to find their Tressym familiar sitting motionless at the tent entrance, wings half-spread, staring into the treeline. It has not blinked in twenty minutes. Behind it, barely visible in the pre-dawn mist, something much larger stares back — and the outline has wings too.
This miniature is scaled to 32mm and is supplied unpainted, ready for priming and painting or for use straight from the box. The model with the detailed base comes as a single attached piece. The model with the plain base is supplied with the base detached and can be fixed easily with a small amount of glue. As with all hand-finished resin miniatures, minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present — these are easily tidied up and are part of the craft.
