Description

The ancient oak at the forest's heart has not moved in a century — but tonight, the roots are walking.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the second sculpt in our Tree Blight range by Novaminis, and it brings a distinctly different character to the tabletop. Where the first variant hunches and looms, this pose rises tall and reaching — a mass of grasping, skeletal branches erupting from a thick, bark-cracked trunk. A jagged maw splits the mid-section, and hollow eyes peer out from the twisted canopy above. The root system splays outward at the base, anchoring the creature mid-stride as though it has just wrenched itself free from the earth. Every crack in the bark, every curling branch tip, and every writhing knot in the wood tells the story of a living thing corrupted beyond recognition.

Whether you're running a blighted forest hex, a Feywild encounter gone wrong, or a campaign where the very land has turned against the party, this miniature carries the weight of environmental dread that makes those moments land. It works equally well as a striking display piece for collectors who appreciate well-crafted creature sculpts with genuine menace in their silhouette.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run D&D 5e encounters featuring Plant monsters or Feywild corruption
  • Need a large, imposing terrain-scale creature for forest or wilderness encounters
  • Are building a blighted grove, cursed woodland, or Gulthias Tree scenario
  • Collect creature miniatures for painting projects or display shelves

Encounter Hook:
The druid's Wild Shape fails the moment she steps into the clearing — the magic here has curdled. Three villagers went missing along this trail last week. Now the party can see why: the great oak at the clearing's centre is moving, its maw already open, its branches already reaching.

Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor marks may occasionally be present; these are easily tidied up before painting.
