Description

The forest path looked safe enough — until the bark split open in a grin of jagged teeth and the roots began to move.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the first sculpt in Novaminis' Tree Blight range, and it makes an immediate impression. The twisted trunk splits into a wide, fang-filled maw at its centre, while gnarled, reaching branches claw upward like skeletal fingers. Skulls are embedded in the bark — remnants of those who wandered too close — and the deeply textured surface captures every crack, knot, and corrupted growth ring you'd expect from a tree warped by dark magic. This is not woodland scenery. This is a predator.

In D&D 5e terms, Tree Blights are Plant-type monsters most famously associated with the corrupting influence of Gulthias Trees and the Shadowfell-touched wilderness of Barovia. On the tabletop, a miniature this characterful earns its place whether you're running a Curse of Strahd campaign, a Feywild descent gone wrong, or any encounter in a forest that's stopped being friendly. Equally compelling as a display piece — the 360° detail rewards the painter on every side.

A great fit for adventurers who:

  • Run D&D 5e encounters in corrupted forests, the Feywild, or Ravenloft
  • Need a striking Plant-type monster to anchor a mid-tier encounter
  • Want a large, characterful centrepiece mini for the display shelf
  • Are working through Curse of Strahd or a custom dark-nature campaign arc
  • Enjoy painting deeply textured organic miniatures

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to investigate a village where three woodcutters vanished within a week. The tracks all lead to the same clearing — where a single ancient tree stands, surrounded by collapsed tools, scattered boots, and suspicious silence. As they approach, the tree turns to face them. It has been waiting.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a drop of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin prints, minor marks may occasionally remain and are easily cleaned up. Each piece is fully cured and ready to prime and paint straight from the box.
