Treasure Pile by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
The chest lid has been forced open, coins spill across the flagstones in every direction, and something has clearly been here very recently — something large enough to fill the room with the smell of old gold and scorched scales.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
- ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
- ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama
This treasure pile scatter piece by Mia Kay M3DM is a beautifully detailed centrepiece for any dungeon encounter. Two open chests — one upright, one toppled — sit amid an avalanche of coins: stacked, scattered, and heaped across a wide oval base. The sculpt captures the chaotic abundance of a dragon's hoard or a long-plundered vault, with individually defined coins, stacked columns, and the satisfying sense that somebody got here before your party did. It reads instantly on the table and photographs brilliantly for display.
Whether you're placing it in a dragon's lair, a thieves' guild strongroom, or the final room of a dungeon crawl, this piece adds immediate narrative weight to the scene. Equally at home on a painted diorama shelf as it is on a battle map mid-session.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run dungeon encounters where the loot is part of the atmosphere
- Need a centrepiece scatter piece for a dragon lair or vault encounter
- Build immersive dioramas and display scenes with deep scenic detail
- Want high-detail terrain that rewards painting with drybrushing and washes
Encounter Hook:
The map promised a dragon's hoard in the deepest chamber — but when the party kicks open the door, the treasure is already here, the chests broken open and the coins still warm. Something took the dragon. Something is still in the room. The gold is the least of their problems.
Scaled to 32mm. The piece is mounted on an integral oval base and arrives as a single unit. Ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or use it as-is for an unpainted grey aesthetic. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor surface marks are possible and can be tidied with light sanding.
