These three treant saplings — collectively known as the Volys — are not the lumbering ancient treants of legend. They are something younger, stranger, and considerably more unsettling. Each figure is sculpted with deep wood-grain striations running across their bark-skin bodies, clusters of spotted mushrooms sprouting at their joints and limbs, and distinctly animate expressions that suggest something watchful dwelling behind those hollow faces. One crouches low with spiked foliage bursting from its crown; another raises its arms in a posture that could be threat or ritual; the third strides forward with the unhurried confidence of something that has never needed to run. All three bases feature gnarled roots and disturbed earth, grounding them in a forest floor that feels very much alive.
In D&D 5e terms these sit comfortably as Plant-type creatures — at home in Feywild encounters, ancient groves, corrupted forests, or as the advance scouts of a greater treant awakening. They work equally well as low-CR woodland threats, cursed nature spirits, or unspeaking guardians of a druid's sacred grove. As display pieces, the trio makes a genuinely striking shelf arrangement — the variety of poses and the richly detailed bark texture reward a careful painter.

This listing is the bundle set, including all three Volys treant sapling poses. Each miniature is scaled to 32mm and supplied with its own decorative base as a separate piece, designed to be attached with super glue. Some models interact with their bases in ways that make the decorative base the strongly recommended option. Print quality is high-detail and each piece is fully cured; supports are removed as standard, though minor marks from the printing process may occasionally be present and are straightforward to clean up before priming.
