- ✔ 32mm scale resin, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ All pieces supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Great value for building out encounter groups or display collections
This is a treant in full rage — not the slow, deliberate guardian of folklore, but something roused past patience. The sculpt captures a huge, gnarled figure mid-stride, its bark-covered body a tangle of exposed wood-grain, splayed branch-limbs, and root-like feet that churn the ground. A massive boulder is hoisted overhead in both branch-arms, ready to be hurled with devastating force. The face — half-hidden in the bark — carries a deep furrow of ancient, wrathful expression. Every surface is rich with fine woodgrain texture, cracked bark detail, and the kind of organic complexity that rewards careful drybrushing and wash layering.
At 76.5mm base size, this is a genuinely imposing Huge-scale miniature that commands the table. It's the sort of piece that makes players go quiet the moment it hits the board. Whether you're running a corrupted forest encounter, a druid's ancient ally gone mad, or the wrath of nature itself awakened by a villain's deforestation scheme, this sculpt carries the weight of that moment. Off the table, it's equally compelling as a display centrepiece — the kind of model that earns its own shelf spot.
Two options are included in this bundle: a plain base variant and a decorative base variant, letting you choose whichever suits your basing scheme or painting project.
- Adventurers running wilderness hexcrawls who need a believable apex threat that isn't a dragon
- Dungeon Masters building a Feywild or enchanted forest encounter with real table presence
- Painters looking for a large organic sculpt with deep texture to showcase wash and drybrush techniques
- Collectors who want a showpiece creature that holds its own as a display piece
Encounter Hook: The party follows a logging crew's distress call into the Thornwood, only to find the camp in splinters and the foreman's boots — still laced — at the base of a great oak. As they search the wreckage, the treeline moves. Something immense steps free of the tree line, a boulder already in its arms, and the sound of creaking wood fills the air like a death knell.
