Description

She arrived at the Arcane University with little more than a worn cloak and an unsettling aptitude for fire — and within a semester, the faculty had quietly agreed to keep a close eye on Lune de la Rue.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Lune de la Rue cuts a composed but quietly intense figure — a young woman in a flowing layered skirt and a broad-shouldered academic cloak, its wide capelet draped with scholarly poise. Her right hand is raised, a small tongue of arcane flame dancing above her palm, caught in a moment of careful concentration rather than outright aggression. Her left hand rests close to her belt, where keys and a chain hang alongside the practical tools of a student who has learned that spellbooks aren't always enough. The sculpt's base features an open tome lying flat on flagstone tiles, reinforcing her identity as a scholar first and a caster second.

The detail throughout is precise and painterly — the lace trim along the hem of her skirt, the embossed floral work across her bodice, the subtle buckles at her waist, and the generous sweep of cloak fabric that reads beautifully both front-on and from behind. The rear view reveals an impressively clean cloak silhouette with crisp layered folds, making this a genuinely rewarding miniature to paint from every angle.

She works equally well as a player character wizard or sorcerer, a studious NPC contact at a magical institution, a young apprentice drawn into your campaign's central conflict, or even a morally ambiguous scholar whose loyalties aren't quite what they seem.

A great choice for adventurers who:

  • Need a young female wizard or sorcerer miniature for their PC or NPC roster
  • Are running campaigns set in magical academies, cities, or arcane institutions
  • Want a miniature that reads as scholarly and composed rather than battle-ready
  • Are looking for a detailed display piece that rewards careful painting

Encounter Hook: The party's contact at the Arcane University never showed — instead, a first-year student named Lune intercepts them in the corridor, whispering that their contact is being held by the Dean of Conjuration, who has been acting strangely since a botched ritual last month. She's been watching the summoning chamber for three nights. She wants out — and she's willing to trade what she knows for protection.
