Description

The sewers beneath the city reek of something far worse than filth — a choking chemical miasma that heralds the Toxic Ratfolk, scurrying in service to their masked, alchemist-priest.

  • ✔ Multi-miniature bundle — multiple variations in one order
  • ✔ 32mm scale resin, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ All pieces supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Great value for building out encounter groups or display collections

This bundle brings you eight characterful ratfolk miniatures from Galaad Miniatures, sculpted with the kind of detail that rewards both the painting table and the encounter map. The set centres on a commanding alchemist figure — robed, masked with a riveted respirator, and carrying a spiked canister apparatus strapped to his back, twin blades raised as he directs the assault. Around him swarm his warband: crouching warriors gripping scavenged swords and battered shields, a hunched shaman-type dragging a bone-tipped staff, and a ragged banner bearer hauling a tattered standard while baring its teeth in a feral snarl. Several fighters are low to the ground in aggressive, forward-lunging poses, while others carry crossbow-like ranged weapons — a warband built for ambush and skirmish encounters.

For your campaign, these map naturally to wererats, ratfolk cultists, Skaven-inspired chaos vermin, or the Monstrous Humanoids of any city underbelly. The alchemist makes a compelling boss or warlock patron surrogate, while the warband fills out a full encounter worth of minions with genuine visual variety across all eight sculpts.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Want a complete, ready-to-use ratfolk warband with a distinct toxic/alchemical theme
  • Are running undercity, sewer, or plague-quarter encounters in D&D 5e or other TTRPGs
  • Collect and paint character-rich fantasy miniatures from independent artists
  • Want strong visual variety across a single enemy faction without repeat poses

Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to investigate a rash of disappearances in the tanners' quarter — but when they descend into the drainage tunnels, they find not one ratfolk but eight, arranged in a loose ambush formation around a pale-robed figure who raises twin blades and speaks to them in perfect Common: "We have been expecting you. The Chemist does not like to be kept waiting."

This bundle includes all 8 miniatures from the Toxic Ratfolk range — the alchemist leader, banner bearer, shaman, melee warriors, shield-bearer, and ranged attacker — all at 32mm scale and supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or striking straight from the base as display pieces.
